Arroyo Dulce

Arroyo Dulce is a small village in the district of Salto, in the province of Buenos Aires (Republica Argentina). It is located in the northwest, halfway between the cities of Salto and Pergamino.

It has a population of 1620 inhabitants (2001). The population is a metropolitan city center. Its population is still considered rural (less Dominican Republic 22than 2,000 people).
This town is principally engaged in agriculture and small scale animal husbandry. The mobility of people includes cars, vans, trucks, bicycles, motorcycles, tractors and agricultural machines.

There is a kindergarten where there are about 70 children. The EGB No.16 has over 200 students. The Institute Private Almafuerte articulates with EGB at 8th and 9th years, and has the form of multi Economics and Management Organizations. Its streets are paved with land and other improvements, allowing traffic on rainy days without problems. The houses are low on tree-lined streets.

There are shops, shoe shops, gomerias, service stations, pharmacies, markets, bakeries, kiosks, Public Services Cooperatives, two cibers, a pub, butchers and hardware stores amongst others.

Around the main square is the school, church, the Municipal Delegation, the first-aid room and the Senior Center.
